What is a Life Coach?
A life coach is a confidant, teacher, mentor, way-shower and helping-hand who will work with you to help you gain self-awareness, develop a greater inner connection and improve your overall life experience. A life coach will help you to see life in an objective manner and break through old patterns to form new habits that will better serve you.
Why have I heard so much about Life Coaching lately?
More people are gravitating toward Life Coaching because in a world where mass amounts of information are thrown at us daily and attitudes of more, bigger, faster, better bombard the psyche; we find ourselves being stretched thinner and thinner. More than ever we are seeking to challenge the values and systems that we’ve been raised to believe in. We want to achieve more, feel better and get the most out of our life experience but we’re not sure where to turn for guidance. A life coach is an unbiased, objective person who acts as a guide and a mentor. Life coaching is a proactive approach to your life — it focuses on improving the quality of your present and future as opposed to dwelling on experiences from your past.
What are your coaching philosophies?
No one is broken or needs fixing: You are perfect the way you are — the question is where do you want to go next? As a life coach I will sit in the passenger’s seat and hold the map offering guidance and suggestions, but you have control of the steering wheel and the gas pedal. Your life is your journey and so you get to determine where the car goes.
Once you understand the rules of the game on a metaphysical and energetic level your life will make a lot more sense to you: The decisions you make and the thoughts you think are directly connected to the consequences you experience in your daily life.
A coach is a guide not a crutch: Throughout the coaching partnership I’ll continue to encourage you to make independent decisions and stay connected with your own power.
Can you help a businessperson increase profits? Set goals? Become more successful?
Yes! Yes! Yes!
What age groups do you work with?
I work primarily with adults ages 16 and up. As long as you are living and breathing you aren’t too old to work with a life coach. It’s a personal decision and anyone who feels ready will benefit from coaching. I also work with children between the ages of 8 and 15 if they are the children of current clients.
Do you sell gift certificates? Is Life Coaching something I can give as a gift?
Yes, gift certificates are available and make a very thoughtful gift. If you are thinking about giving someone the gift of life coaching make sure they are open to it and ready for the experience. You can’t force coaching on anyone. It is an extremely personal experience

Isn’t it self-centered to spend so much time working on myself?
You cannot give anything away that you don’t first have yourself. The time you spend looking inward will not only improve your quality of life but will also make you more adequately prepared to make a difference in the lives of others. The better you feel about yourself and your own life, the more able you’ll be to help others find their way. Working with a coach will help make you a better mother, friend, spouse and colleague as it will fill you up with more love, inspiration, self-worth and clarity.
